10 Long Songs Well Worth a Listen

If I'm being completely honest, I sometimes feel like I'm robbed when I fork out $10-$15 for a CD that isn't even an hour long. As a writer, I understand that, most of the time, it's better to say something in as few words as possible. Sometimes, though, I think that rule is crap. Here are 10 musical examples of that, in ascending order of preference.

1. Beck: Scarecrow
2. Guster: Keep It Together
3. Sigur Ros: Saeglopur
4. Andrew Bird: Armchairs
5. Alexi Murdoch: Orange Sky
6. Iron & Wine: Trapeze Swinger
7. DeVotchKa: How it Ends
8. Iron & Wine: Sea and the Rhythm
9. Youth Group: See-Saw
10. Death Cab for Cutie: Transatlanticism
