The last few weeks have been highlighted by a few small victories, and today was no exception. Due to my, erm, over-excitement and passion for music, I find myself constantly attaching songs, albums, or even musicians to certain memories or past relationships. Some songs I wish to never hear again, for various reasons. One of the main reasons is that some of my ex-boyfriends had really poor taste in music...but every now and again, a lovely song becomes tainted and I just...can't listen to it without feeling totally turned inside out and misplaced.
Today I listened to what was once one of my favorite songs for the first time in over two years, and I enjoyed it. Victory.
