5 Really Good Indie Films (And 5 Really Bad Ones)

5 really good indie films you may have never heard of, unless you've already heard me talk about them, which is totally possible (in order of preference)

1. Wristcutters: A Love Story
2. Brick
3. The Puffy Chair
4. Conversations with Other Women
5. The United States of Leland

I have a deep and abiding love for independent film, but I don't think it would be fair to discriminate, so here's another list:

5 really bad indie films (in condescending order of hatred level)
1. The Wendell Baker Story
2. Smiley Face
3. Smoke Signals
4. The Ten
5. Hannah Takes the Stairs

I loved Brick and Conversations with Other Women... but you didn't like Smoke Signals? Obviously, you have never spent time on a reservation.

I wanted to punch Thomas Builds-the-Fire in the face. I felt so bad for Victor the *entire* movie.

And no, I haven't.

Just found your spot. Commenting a little behind here but Brick was great! I have not seen the others but thanks for the recommendations.
