Vent time:
1. I was in a car accident on the way to work on Thursday morning. I'm fine, but my poor little car is aching. Also, this spawned a less-than-pleasant series of conversations with my dad in which he repeatedly told me to stop crying. (Note to the male population: This never works. It only makes it worse.) Anyway, the accident was not my fault, and the guy who hit me was driving a company car. So, this process is taking longer than I want it to, and I still haven't heard from the adjuster of their insurance company. Meanwhile, my car is all scratched up on the side, and she's missing the driver's side mirror. Basically it looks like someone cut off her ear. Like that officer in Reservoir Dogs. I want a refund (and I think my car does, too).
2. I have felt like crapola for the past week, and all I really want right now is to feel top notch for work tomorrow (and the rest of the month, as I will be taking on extra hours while the receptionist is in Switzerland). As for last week, I want a refund.
3. Coldplay (Chris Martin, specifically) totally just sucked it up on the MTV Movie Awards. Apparently this is their first time performing "Viva la Vida" live, and all I can say is, they (he) better improve by miles by the time they go on tour, because I will be seeing them, and it won't be cheap. As for tonight, I want a refund.
Okay, to end on something pleasant, I bought two great things this week: Firefly for $25 at Amazon, and the Slinky shirt from Juno:
I don't want a refund on those.

sorry your week has been less then steller... that really sucks! Your poor car, I feel bad for her and her lost little ear! Hopefully things will look up for you soon!!
